TIESplus is a comprehensive, fee-based coaching service designed specifically for UT Austin students with autism and/or ADHD. Our mission is to provide personalized, strengths-based support that empowers neurodivergent students to thrive inside and outside the classroom.
With the guidance of trained, specialized coaches, students build and strengthen skills in executive functioning, time management, self-advocacy, social communication, and more.
Coaching services are available on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, depending on your needs and preferences.

Longhorn TIES offers free, specialized events and workshops that are designed for neurodivergent students and are open to campus.
Eligibility and Application
Who Can Apply?
Admitted or enrolled UT Austin undergraduate or graduate students who identify as neurodivergent are eligible for TIESplus services.
What Do I Need?
To get started, submit an online application and schedule an initial consult meeting with Longhorn TIES staff. No diagnostic or educational paperwork is required.
When Should I Apply?
Apply anytime, but sooner is better. Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis; acceptance and start date are based on staff availability.
Levels of Support
All students will be recommended a level of service based on their application and initial consult meeting. The level of service is reevaluated at the end of every term.
Level 1
Full College Transition Support
- Best for: First-year, second-year and transfer undergraduates
- Includes: Weekly 1:1 coaching, group coaching, tailored support across academic, social, professional, and life skills, required event attendance
- Fee: $5,000/term

General Student Support
- Best for: Undergraduate and graduate students seeking regular support
- Includes: Biweekly 1:1 coaching, biweekly progress checks, tailored support across academic, social, professional, and life skills, required event attendance
- Fee: $3,000/term
Level 3
Monthly Support
- Best for: Final-year undergraduate or graduate students
- Includes: Monthly 1:1 coaching, monthly progress checks, focused on transition to post-grad life, access to workshops, required professional development event attendance
- Fee: $1,500/term
All Levels Receive
Individualized Action Plans
All students receiving TIESplus services develop an individualized action plan in consultation with their coach, tailored to their needs, goals, and target areas for skill development. This plan is reviewed and updated throughout the term to reflect progress and evolving priorities.
Workshops and Events
Students in all levels have access to TIESplus workshops, socials, study halls and a supportive peer community via group coaching, a weekly newsletter, and Discord. Each student is required to attend a number of events per semester depending on their service level.
Financial Options and Sponsorship
Private Payment
Students may choose to pay privately either as a single lump sum or in up to four installments over the course of the term during which services are received.
UT Austin Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid
Longhorn TIES can initiate a cost-of-attendance review through the UT Austin Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Additional support options may be available.
Texas Workforce Commission – Vocational Rehabilitation (TWC-VR)
A limited number of sponsorship slots are available each term for students who are registered and eligible for services through Texas Workforce Commission – Vocational Rehabilitation (TWC-VR).
