Support Longhorn TIES

Students with autism and ADHD face unique barriers that impact their success in college. Research points to difficulties in executive functioning, social communication, and self-advocacy as key contributing factors. Stigma and a lack of appropriate support services further exacerbate these challenges.

Longhorn TIES (Transition, Illuminate, Empower, Succeed) was established in 2020 to address these challenges and help students thrive. Our mission is to support student success and enrich the college experiences for students who identify as neurodivergent (autism, ADHD, etc.) through self-advocacy, connections, and training.

Your contribution to Longhorn TIES is an investment in future of our students. By providing the necessary resources and support, you are helping to remove barriers and create a supportive environment where every students has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we can ensure that students with autism and ADHD at UT Austin have the support they need to succeed, reach their full potential and find career success!
