Presentations and Trainings

Longhorn TIES is proud to host and deliver autism and ADHD trainings to The University of Texas at Austin community (including faculty and staff, undergraduate and graduate classes, student organizations, and more) as well as community agencies. Longhorn TIES offers standardized trainings or can customize a training for the needs of your team. All Longhorn TIES trainings and workshops are voluntary, and no UT students, faculty, or staff may be mandated to attend any Longhorn TIES training.

Longhorn TIES requests that all presentation requests include an estimated audience of at least 10 attendees. If you are requesting a customized training, please submit a workshop request at least four weeks in advance of the desired training date. Longhorn TIES will respond to all workshop requests within 3-5 business days.  

ND Affirming Training

Each semester, Longhorn TIES aims to offer at least one open Neurodivergence Affirming Training to students, staff, faculty, and administrators at The University of Texas at Austin. Participants who attend this training will be added to a Neurodivergence Affirming Continuing Education Canvas page. Participants will also receive a placard recognizing their completion of the training and an ongoing commitment to supporting the neurodivergent community at The University of Texas at Austin.

Can’t make the open workshop? Longhorn TIES can deliver this training in-person or via Zoom to groups of at least 10 attendees. In order to request delivery for your group, please fill out the Presentation Request Form.
